Clash of Clans Town Hall 5 Farming Strategy: Like a Boss!

Two days after investing $150, 000, your Town Hall 4 has finally finished upgrading to COC town hall level 5. This is where you really need to start honing your skill in the Clash of Clans game. If you don’t get a solid idea of how to defend your village and attack your enemies wisely soon, there’s a good chance that every opponent you come across is going to end up walking all over you (there are a lot of people that take their offensive strategies very seriously and the further you get in the game, the more time these people have had to master the craft of swiftly taking over a weak base in almost no time at all). By the time you’re completed this short article, you too can be well on your way to becoming one of the best defenders in the entire game.

All you really need to know is where to place your different types of buildings and how to ward off against different types of attacks, really. Not only are we going to cover all of that below, but we’re also going to offer a bonus section that will explain to you how you can conquer enemy units that are also sitting at Town Hall level five.

The Basics

Farming in Town Hall level four can be done with quite a bit of speed in the event that it’s done efficiently, so as long as you’ve got $150, 000 at your disposal to make the upgrade, you’re good to go. Hopefully you upgraded all of your other defensive and resource collecting buildings to their fullest potential before you got here, but if you didn’t it’s still not the biggest deal in the world. Just make sure that you do as soon as possible to avoid becoming exceptionally weaker than your opponents (who presumably have been updating their buildings as soon as they could).

Clash of Clans Town Hall 5: Tips, Tricks, And Farming Strategies

Incredibly Easy Farming

Town Hall level five has been described by some people as the easiest farming level in the entire game, which makes quite a bit of sense when you consider all of the handy things that you get to use to your advantage that become available in this level. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the things that you’ll gain access to in this fun to play Town Hall level:

– Your first look and experience with the Wizard towers (which can come in pretty handy by dealing out splash damage at a decent rate and time).

– A Lightning Spell (You’ll use it to attack certain structures that belong to your opponent. Can come in really handy and can sometimes make the difference between winning and losing a battle with your opponent).

– Will allow you to max out your wall defenses (making them as strong as they’ll ever be).

– A third army camp and new level upgrade (now you’ll be able to carry a max army of 135 units!).

– You’ll be able to upgrade your Barbarian units to level three.

Those last two can come in especially useful – It can be quite difficult for most Town Hall level four and five players to defend their villages when there are 135 fully upgraded Barbarians charging through. If you’re someone that plays the game solely for the purpose of getting as many resources out of your enemies as you possibly can, there’s a good chance that you’re probably going to have more fun playing Town Hall level five than many of the others.

How To Take Over Your Enemies

As I mentioned above, the ability to max your Barbarians upgrades and the idea of being able to send 135 of them into your enemy’s territory for takeover is hands down one of the best offensive strategies available in the entire game as far as I’m concerned, but if you decide that you don’t want to send your Barbarians in for whatever reasons (Hey, it’s your version of the game and if you decide that Barbarians just aren’t for you, who are we to tell you any different?) feel free to send in any other high health, high attack units in their place. The general idea is this: As long as there are enough of them and they’re able to survive a few moderate defense tactics (because by this point in the game it’s very likely that your opponent has begun to develop at least some sort of defensive strategy), you should be good to go.

Don’t Worry About Your Trophy Count Yet

Unless you happen to have an obscene amount of trophies, you won’t have to worry too much about them just yet (you’ll learn more about exactly why they’re useful soon, but there’s no need to concern yourself with them just yet). A good general rule of thumb is that as long as you have less than 500 trophies, you should be good. If you have more than 1000 trophies (good for you, by the way!), sorry, but you’ll have to get rid of a few of them.

Upgrade Wisely And In Order

The order in which you upgrade the different resource and defensive structure begins to gain importance in this level. Here’s a foolproof strategy that’s guaranteed to take your farming game to the next level in TH5 and set you up for some serious success in the other levels if your primary game focus is farming.

As soon as TH5 finishes upgrading, you’re going to want to upgrade your army camp so that you can have many more raiders join your team. While you’re spending all of your elixir on the upgrades, feel free to use you gold to upgrade your walls – The stronger they are, the better defense they’ll offer you.

Upgrade your laboratory, followed by your Barbarians. Once you have maxed out your army camps and you’ve completed your research on the level three Barbarians, you’ll be well on your way to a much-feared army whose farming capabilities simply can’t be beat!
